Patti O'Dora's Last Show
Patti O'Dora the star of the Saturday nights show "The House of the Goddess" celebrated her final show May 7, 2005.
A standing room only house turned out to see many of Portland's finest drag impersarios, the cast included Darcelle XV and company, Maria, Poison Waters, Pebbles and several members of The Embers Hostess Hall Of Fame. It was a truly amazing show with Patti doing many of her greatest hits, including Rough and Ready, Son of A Preacher Man and a great rendition of And I'm Telling You.
Bobby Brue made a statement thanking Patti for her years of dedication and wishing her all happiness as she enters motherhood.
The Hall of Fame was on stage with her as she completed her shows 11 1/2 year run with The Ember's traditional ending Last Dance. Patti thanked the audience for all their love over the years and exited to a standing ovation and not a few tears.
Patti and Maria appear annually as our Pride Parade Emcees.
